Changing 5.3 to a 6.0

Basically whole engine harness and trans harness. Trans computer and engone computer, new gas electronic throttle pedal because 08 only came with an electronic throttle body. The LQ4 and LQ9 will be the most cost effective and easiest tp swap because they are plug and play and you can still use your cable throttle body. The LQ4 can be had cheap as well

Just pass on the gen 4 engine whetyer it is an L76 or an LY6. It isnt worth it. Find an LQ4 or LQ9 long block. Your manifold, injectors, front accessories, and everything else will bolt to it. Drop in, plug in, tune, and have fun

As said earlier I did this swap with the LQ9. Including engine, tuning, and install I paid $3000. I was out of the truck for 2 days. The shop ran 8-5. Try to drop in a gen 4 and you will (generally speaking) be out more time and money
