Headlamp won't work

Hi all - I installed the R&D headlight and foglight controllers yesterday and noticed today that my right front low beam headlight won't work. It's not the bulb b/c I tried installing a new one and that didn't work, adn I put the old bulb on the left side and it still works.  Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong and how I can fix it?  Do I have a short somewhere?

 

The weird thing is that it worked fine after I did the two R&D controller installs yesterday. This morning when I turned the Yukon on I noticed my battery was running high at 16v instead of the normal 13.5-14.7 range.  It returned to normal after driving a while throughout the day.

 

Please help -- I hate driving home in the dark with only one headlight. Thanks!

Recheck ALL of your wire connections.

What kind of splices did you do on the headlight wires?

make sure that they are making good contact. Also, make sure that they are not shorting anything out.

From the description that you gave, it sounds like a connection came loose or disconnected.

I can't remember who it was, but I remember someone having some kind of problem after installing one of those products.  If I remember correctly, it had something to to do with a connector coming loose or something.

I don't know who it was either but I think that it was a connector in the electrical box under the hood.

I blew a fuse in the box under the hood for each headlight. I would check one of those too.
