Mine never seams to do the math right on any if my cars says I get 12mpg and I have 9 gallons left in the tank but for some reason It says my range is 159 miles

I had a similar problem and had to call on star from the truck and they had to do some reset and all is good now

vettedreamer is correct. You can press the OnStar button for a system update check, just ask for the Technical team. I hope this helps, let me know if you have any additional questions.
