Drivers side mirror dying

I've got an 07 LTZ silverado with the power fold mirror, and noticed the other day that when i went to back up that it didnt tilt down as i have the "parking tilt mirrors" activated. Passenger wide went down as it should. Tried to adjust the mirror up and down and it wont do it. Does go side to side just fine. I'm assuming that the motor is starting to go bad. Is it relativly easy to take the mirrors apart and change out the motor or is it just easier to replace the mirror?
