Torque converters

Can you install a 4L80e diesel torque converter into a gas 4L80e ?

for the amount of work ,,,,you should call the dealer parts dept and ask the same question ,he'll look it up and tell you

 

if its a used TC ,,,dont bother

Thx govtech. I was just wandering because my trans put out a P0894 code. I had it rebuilt and was told that he installed a transgo shift kit and a diesel toque converter. He told me that it has a lower stall and would pull better.
