2009 Z71 285/60/R18 stock

I put it in the tire calculator, and it told me the 285/60/R18 is 13/16" wider and 1/8" shorter.

 

if it's 13/16" wider and 1/8" shorter will it rub?

 

as stated, all stock.

I am going to say no, since you can get 275-55R 20s from the factory. You will only be a little over 3/8 wider than they are. And still shorter.

I've got them on now for about 600 miles... messing with tire pressures having a hard time getting these E rated tire pressures... i've got the front's at 48 and the backs at 38 and the backs outer edges still aren't really wearing..... the gas mileage dropped noticeably when they were set to 34 so i pushed them up and fixed that for the most part.

 

i guess I might have to drop the rears down some more or actually do the chalk test.

 

the p rated bridgestone a/t's i ran front 38 back 28 and they wore perfect.

 

any idea's on tire longevity by the way?
