Hi Forum,

 

I have an 07 Avalanche LT with Bose system, and recently installed a Clarion VX404 head unit after the install none of the chimes work door, low fuel, backup. I have the interface that works the steering controls, but like I said no chimes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm no expert but I think that's a "feature" of most non OEM head units. If you search this forum you should find some more info from the pros. You might also want to ask Clarion support about your specific unit.

I was looking on Crutchfield for a radio for my 2004 truck and the chimes and steering wheel controls take seperate adaptors.
