Just noticed paint flaking off at the front of the box where the rocker panel is located. Looks like a flaw because the primer is still intact. I guess 60k nowadays buys nothing but shoddy workmanship.

There is one way to fix this problem. Do not buy these vehicles. if you continue to buy them, GM has absolutely no incentive to improve the quality. In fact, they will try to make the new trucks even cheaper (and higher priced). It seems that dazzling the younger crowds with cheap latest day gadgets at the expense of vehicle quality does the trick.
