Adding parking sensors on 2014 SLE Crew Cab

New to Forum and first time GMC owner. Love the truck. I'm wanting to add backup sensors and was wondering what my options are? Can I purchase a wiring harness and sensors for a SLE and just plug and play and drill or would I have to go just after market? Would like the front sensors as well but I'm sure it might cost a lot.

Aftermarket is probably your only choice. You would need the sensors, wiring, and bumper. Then if they could, reprogram your computer to recognize it all.

I installed the Rostra back up and front sensor kits. It works great but took alot of work. It costed me about $200 for both kits.

I looked into factory sensors and if the truck wasnt built with them its impossible

Are you talking camera or just sensors?

 

Camera is nice for hooking up trailers and for parking.

i have a 2015 silverado with the rear sensors....is it possible to add the front ones?
