Had mine welded open. I do get the slight drone. Wife gets excited when I mention the helicopters are following us! Lol

Did anybody notice somewhat firmer shifts when they clamped it open? Not sure if it's a coincidence or my transmission is acting funky, but since I clamped it, it sheens to be shifting harder, especially into 2nd gear

You could try to unhook the battery for awhile so that the memory clears to the computer and gives it a chance to relearn the new parameters
