gave20 Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 I was at the local dealership the other day looking at new trucks and I found a sticker next to the window sticker that said "acid rain eats away the paint of vehicles ask about our acid rain protectant sealer." I was wondering if anybody else in the northeast has found other GM dealers promoting this stuff and does this stuff actually work?
lrymal Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 At first glance, I would like to say all these sealers and paint protection options are a rip-off. I think even Consumer Reports sez they are. But, I decided to do a search on GOOGLE and read the various links that are displayed which I have here. You might read a few of these and draw your own conclusion. For the most part, I think it is a joke, but then I wax my vehicles periodically.
