Ya see? This is why I never upgrade my IOS.

 

When I had my 3g right after the 3Gs came out they released an update that basically crippled 3G and I did it.. I regretted it for the next several years.

You're missing out on personal hotspots with 8.1, is a great feature they finally gave us.

Really..? Does that apply to those of us with unlimited data plans?

 

I thought ATT didn't like tethering and charged an extra fee for it. hotspots is tethering x10.

Yeah, I know we're getting a little off topic with the tethering/personal hotspots, but yes... I have AT&T too and now with the iPhone's personal hotspot feature, you can now tether without AT&T's involvement or charges. You can do it by WiFi, USB, and supposedly bluetooth to connect your devices, but I haven't tried bluetooth or USB, just the WiFi tethering, and it works great.
