2014 speaker replacements

Thinking about replacing my bose, due to the fact of my tweeters and mids crackling since I decided to amp them up for them to be a little bit louder.

Replaced the tweeter with some JL ZR series tweeter but their crackling when I turn them up, I'm guess this is because I don't have a crossover on them but I could be wrong. Suggestions??

What speaker or adapters have y'all used for the front speakers, I know factory they're 6x9's but in order to run a component set I need to make this opening a 6.5. I don't know of any component 6x9 systems or is there a way for me to add some 6x9's and buy a separate crossover to run the tweeters to it?

Suggestions are greatly appreciated and I know I should have just left the bose alone; but it was my curiosity to see if I could amp them up

I used a piece of thin press board to hold my 6.5. I left the dash tweeters and made my own component placements in the door panels.

Plug in you vehicle info and choose some similar speakers on crutchfield.com and see what adapters they would include for free.

I brought it to a local audio shop and they bypassed the bose amp, so now I'm running a kicker ix 1000.5, on the sub channel I have a 10" rockford p3 in a ported box. Sub sounds great even the rear bose speakers are fine jus having a problem from keeping my dash speakers from crackling, might be cause the bose amp had a crossover and the kicker amp doesn't...maybe not sure though

I haven't found any adapters yet, but could I put a pair of crossovers in and make a component set. I know it sounds stupid but idk what else to do

Brought it back to my installer to let him listen and he said its perfect, and as far as my tweeters I may be overpowering them (JL ZR tweeters 50 rms) only abt 15 rms may be going to them. I have the amp on a quarter gain

Wait a second. Are you saying you are currently running 500W to the stock bose 6" subwoofer? It handles it? I have grown very dissapointed with that sub lately. Most of the base in the vehicle seems to actually come from the doors.

I have been wanting to take out that bose sub and replace it with a similarly sized JL maybe even upgrade it to an 8" with some custom fab work inside the console.

Thanks!

I may have worded it wrong I don't have the center console sub hooked up anymore, I bypassed it to run another sub under my rear seats

I'd put a full ZR component setup in there rather than just the tweeters. I'm running Audison Voce 6.5's in the doors with adapters from the 6x9 and Voce 3" and 1" on an adapter plate in the factory tweeter location. (Some modification was necessary to get these to fit in there). Running the 6.5's active on the rear channels of the Audison 5ch. amp, and mid tweet passive with a mid/tweet Audison crossover. I've never been a fan of running rear speakers. They're just there for fill. The fronts are used for imaging.
