Was the ride still just as harsh as it is with fuse in place? No idea about suspension data that you can read with scan tool. I am just going on what I would try using the mechanical logic I have picked up over the last 40 years.

Can you do a title search to locate the previous owner? Maybe give him a call and see if he can add some information to this issue.

Sometimes previous owners get a bit paranoid when the new owner contacts them. In this case he has nothing to worry about, you did not buy it from him. About the only thing you don't want to hear is that he traded the truck in because of the ride issue you now have.

As posted before, there are not many causes of a harsh ride. The vid you posted almost sounds like tire pressure/profile/load range issue. Sort of like a basketball type of sound. Did changing tires make any difference at all? 20 inch wheels have 3 inches less tire sidewall to help absorb the harshness compared to standard 17 inch wheels. It will be noticeable, but not sure how noticeable. The magnetic ride should help that though.

If you want to try something, drop air pressures to 25psi and take a short drive at city speeds(no hwy driving) down a road that you know is harsh. See if it is much different. Do not leave them at 25psi. Do not drive at high speeds, in hot weather with tire pressures that low. Ford did this on the SUVs with the Firestone tires decades ago to reduce harshness and it caused quite a few deaths. It still pisses me off that Firestone had to say it was their fault just to keep the OEM business with Ford.
