I went to the local track sunday. Is a 15.61 with a 2.39 60ft good?

I raced a Rustang GT and he only beat me buy 0.2! Weather was great, around 70 degrees...

Cool Pic!!!

I don't know if that is a good time or not, but judging by the fact you ran very close to the GT, you should be happy!!!

I'd say not bad for a truck!

My corvette last fall ran some false knock problems, a 13.5 @ 105mph, with a 2.1 60foot.

With some practice, this year i'm hoping for 13.0-13.2

its not bad for a truck (stock?) but if it was suppose to be some kind of fast car (say like a mustang) it would be horrible.

Not bad for a stock/ slightly modded truck.  Typical also for a stock/slightly modded 87-93 rustang.

I believe the mustang in the picture is of the next era....93 or 94+  My buddy had a 95 (last year for the 5.0 - 302 motor) and it ran pretty #### good.  The first generation 4.6's didnt run as well, years 96+....IMO.

Very good run for a stock truck though!   :nono:

    • New to this forum.  Also looking to tune a 6L80 and trying to work out all the issues in my transmission swap.  I have a 6.2 diesel (1983) and have removed the TH-400 and about to put in a 6L80 with a TCM-2600 interface and don't have a clue what I doing after that.  Did you (Leatherneck/RAV3) get your slip resolved? I too hate to spend that kind of money on a tuner that hopefully I will not need too many times although from what steelerdude15 added about the HP Tuner being great for diagnostics would be a plus.  I am also from WNC but below you in Columbus.  Any helo would be greatly appreciated.
