Order Times, How long have you waited?

I bit the bullet and ordered a 2015 GMC Sierra SLT last week. This will be the second factory order I have done, my current 2010 Sierra SLT took 6 months to get.

 

I went into the dealership today to confirm the order was accepted, and was told I may not get the truck as GM Canada has allotted only 150 SIerra's (for the entire country) to have a sun-roof and my order was red-flagged.

 

Of interest I was told that no 6.2L 8 speeds are being shipped right now as there may be quality control / electronic issues with them and they are all being "bayed" at the factory.

 

Interesting to note on ARI's web-site (major fleet supplier here in Canada) that the standard times is between 11 - 13 weeks.

That's interesting about the 6.2/8-speed as I was told today by GMC Chat that my truck is on a railcar in Texas on its way to Winston Salem NC.

Ordered my 6.2/8 speed last week and was told 8 weeks by GMC. Hoping its around that timeframe......
