I ordered several and have one for sale; PM if interested. It is a nice trigger!

Sorry to hear you paid that much money for one of those things. No way it should cost that much money. They are marketed toward the 'wow that's cool' crowd, the same boneheads that went crazy over the slide fire stocks.

Please don't mislead anybody, there is nothing nice about the trigger, nothing. I had a chance to play around with one of these at the range today, not the least bit impressed. A local shop got some in and gave us a few to play around with.

I can say that it takes some practice to get used to feathering the trigger correctly for a higher rate of fire. There is no accuracy at all during rapid fire with this trigger and the trigger finger gets tired and rate of fire slows drastically. The barely there reset is dangerous and I can see many people having a ND because of this. They are asking for trouble there. At some point, there will be a law suit over this thing because the reset is all but non existent. Someone will get injured and the tac-con party will be over.

The only thing this trigger is good for are mag dumps to impress your buddies at the range. For that amount of money ($500!!) you're better off buying a Slide Fire stock for range mag dumps. The stock is much more practical and much safer to use.

We actually broke one of the selector switches in the process of testing these triggers today. The ones we had are some type of really cheap black plastic and are extremely fragile! It broke from the weapon being placed onto a picnic table on it's side. No abuse to the switch, it just broke. Not sure if the weather had anything to do with it, was 19 degrees when we were shooting. For $500 or more, it should not damage or just crack for no reason.

I can get the same rate of fire and be more accurate with my personal semi-auto weapons than with the tac-con. My ALG ACT triggers were about $40-$50 each and are much higher quality BUT they don't come with a cheap selector switch that flips 180 degrees to look cool. They function better but don't appeal to the cool crowd.

Before anybody thinks about wasting that much money, do yourself a favor and pick up a real trigger such as a Geissele S3G. Well worth the $240 or so and will be just as fast, if not faster than the tac-con gimmick trigger. It's also a proven reliable trigger made by a top notch manufacturer.

Final though is, I would never pay that amount of money for this trigger. There are much better options out there for half the cost. Only problem with the others, (Geissele, Timney) is they do not have the mall ninja cool factor of a third position for an ugly selector switch.

You could build a new upper or new lower for what these triggers cost.

Go with the ALG ACT with lower power springs and some good trigger lube and happiness will find you.
