2014 SILVERADO Fuel/oil leaks

seems to be antifreeze but it only happens after being on the highway for a while then it steams at the passanger side top of the rad grill side and im not losing any fluid almost like a pin hole leak

Take a look at the reservoir next time it happens. It is best if you can look immediately after it happens. See if you can see any steam from around the connections.

I checked as it was steaming seems to be at the top corner but u can't see it it's hidden behind the supports I have to do the transfer case recall anyways I'll have them look at it then

if you can get a picture of it happening, that might be helpful as well, otherwise if they can't duplicate the problem, they won't do anything about it.

Can't see how taking a picture will mean anything. When you take your vehicle in for something beyond the norm and they come back with issue not found, they are not saying it does not do what you are complaining about, they are just saying it did not do it for them. Very difficult to diagnose a problem when the technician is unable to reproduce it. Best thing to do is find out what steps need to be taken to duplicate the issue every time.

 

I know how frustrating it is to be the customer in that position, and also know how frustrating it is being the technician that cannot reproduce the issue, and just spent 30 minutes with no pay. Get a couple of those a day and watch your pay drop. Don't know how warranty works now, but, last time I worked in a flat rate dealership, in the first 30 days of ownership warranty would pay for adjustments(squeaks and rattles). Used to be able to cover your time looking for the issue, and warranty would pay. That ended on day 31.
