Front Seat Movement

Has anyone with a 40/20/40 front seat noticed any movement when you come to a stop or accelerate after stopping? also have noticed it when going over uneven ground.  Seems to be in the seat track.

I had a rock in my driver's power bucket(cloth).  They replaced the seat track and all is well now.

Seat in the 1500 didn't latch on one side.  GM told me to shuve it.  Got tired of the seat sliding on one side when I stopped or took off.  Got the seat comfortable then welded the b!tch in place... Guess what no problems anymore..

Check this out my seats drove me insane so I made a tech wiki just on this subject. http://wiki.hurstolds.org/GM_Power_Seat_Fix_page_1.html mine started it in the passengers seat (I rarely have anybody in that seat and it started about 2002 or 2003 just out of warranty). The drivers seat starting doing it and a year later I got pissed one day and went to taking the blasted thing apart. Four crummy rubber spacers cause some really irritating seats movements.

My wife's 02 tahoe does the same thing -- I've purchased the adhesive/bolt kit; just haven't had time to try this fix.

Let me know how that kit works out. I wonder what that kit is bonding whether it is new bushings or the adjuster nut to the block.

Snap On FSE120 Torx E12 Flex 1/4 Inch Drive.

I fixed my tahoe's seat with this adhesive/bolt kit. So far so good, the seat is solid again. The adhesive bonds the zinc block to the bottom track.
