Okay today it was nice so me and my buddy decide to go wheeling on the back part of the farm.  I'm in the Suzuki Samarai with 13" of Lift and 35x12.50 Buckshots Muds.  My buddy Eric has his Toyota with 4" of lift and 33x12.50 Buckshots up front and 33"x12.50 Boggers in the back.  We are equipped with lockers front and back also.  This is important later.  So we are wheeling around it's about six and I stop a person in an Expedition on the gravel ride of the farm for sale adjacent to us.  He flags us down and being nice I cruise over there and see what's up.  The gentlemen gets out with his Banana Republic clothes on and doesn't want to mess up his Gucci or whatever expensive shoes so he's standing on his running boards.  He says," Is this the farm for sale?"  Since there's no sign I replied yeah this is it.  He goes okay well then we are going to drive around and see how it lays.  I chimed in that it isn't a good idea because it's rather soupy and that he definately get stuck.  Now here's the point of truth.

This guys says,

" I'm not worried about it my expedition has a V-8, 4 wheel drive and BF Goodrich All-Terrians so I'll be fine.. Besides if those piles, refering to our trucks, aren't stuck then I'm surely not getting stuck"  That's word for word...

Note: As soon as the guy got out all dressed nice I started to profile him.  It's fine he's dressed nice that don't bother me but don't go dressed nice to look at a farm you want to buy.  Anyways with that last reply I was like wow this guy is a Yuppie who thinks that just because he has 4 wheel drive and decent tires that he's okay..

Anyways so Eric and I roll back to our property and park the truck and are watching.  Well being a seasoned off-road driver, having 4 wheel drive, and BFG All-Terrians this guy drives off the safety of the gravel into the farm.  Little does he know where he's driving last season was a field of corn that only has vetch and rye growing.  Anybody who's knows what I'm talking about, knows what I'm talking about.  It's really soft for everybody else.  So we're watching as as soon as he's off the gravel he sinks to about 1" away from his running boards but he hasn't stopped.  Then for some unknown reason he decides to stop and get out and look around.  Well after stepping out and realizing that it's not soft it's muddy he got back in his 2003 Expedition Eddie Baur Edition SUV and decide to leave.  Wel needless to say he was stuck and didn't budge not a 1/2" I promise you.  So being kind like I am I drive over there and offer help.

I say " So do you with your venerable 4x4 with BFG All-Terrians need some help?"

For some reason it didn't go over real good with him.   I still don't understand why.  So anyways Eric and I both try to pull him out but no luck he's too heavy.  So everybody get's out of the car, yes it's a car IMO.  And decide to call a tow truck and wait at the side of the road.

You guys are probably like that's great man whatever.  But I thought this was absolutely hilarious...

Also when the tow truck driver, Lenny, got there I know him personally he was like okay who's the dumba$$ that did this.  It was great.. :owned:  :jester:

Oh man I know what you are talking about.  I can't stand people like that.  When we had an ice storm people were out on the roads that didn't even know how to turn on their electronic 4WD systems...in the end the Ranger, a RWD truck, and a couple bags of sand handled the slippery conditions better than the yuppies in their poseur mobiles.

Its just like when I am coming back from the White Mountains last year and saw these guys flying down the road in a freezing rain storm... There had to be a 1/2" of ice covering everything. I am rolling along at like 40mph in the right hand lane with 4x4 and these people are just flying in there high priced yuppie mobiles... Funny things half of them were on their roof less than a mile down the road... I just had to laugh at them and feel bad for the fire fighters and such that were dragged out in the type of weather... Some people are just so stupid they don't even know it.... Not to say all skiers with their yuppie mobiles are bad but most of the ones up there are brain dead... My 4 wheel drive can go through anything.. Ice doesn't slow me down one bit..

Up here in North Central Washington, we get alot of these types during hunting season.  You can also tell who they are too.  It will be an Expedition, Tahoe, or Landcruiser whose license plate frame reads I-5 Ford or Sea-Tac Toyota.  You can always find them cruising the roads in the National Forests, a beer in one (or more) of their many cupholders and a rifle in the seat.  Even if you meet them on the highway, you will still know its them, because they are the only ****'s dumb enough to wear hunter orange in the car.  :werd:

I know how you feel man, when I go down to the Texas Coastline (Port Aransas) there are always these "snowbirds" that are all driving around like they are the sh!ts... I have seen alot of them who think a Subaru(or equivalent AWD car) can make it right behind a lifted 4wd truck through the sand... Needless to say it is f*cking hilarious. Also when the dumb@$$es come out there in there RWD cars, and are tearing up the beach, then get stuck and wonder why I ain't gonna pull them out :nonod:  :jester:
