New GMC Sierra SLT owner looking for help

I recently bought a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT Crew Cab. I'd like to add a few things to give it a bit more appeal. I have a 2 part question. First, what should I spend money on first; tires/rims, leveling, exhaust. Secondly which hood deflector should I go with? I've attached a comparison photo.

 

I've tinted the windows and have ordered in-channel wind deflectors.

 

I'm contemplating getting the AVS aeroskin hood deflector, but can't decide if I should get smoke black, or chrome. My truck is Black with a Chrome grille. So I'm not sure if it will be too much chrome if I added the chrome deflector, or if the Black deflector would get lost. I think the black is more my style, lower key. But also think the chrome looks good on this truck.

 

Any thoughts? Opinions?

I have the AVS on my black all-terrain and you can barely notice it's there. I love it... As for color (black or smoke) I'm not sure it would make a difference with the black background. I would choose the black jsut to be safe. With the chrome grille and the chrome bumper there's more than enough on the nose of the truck already.

That truck looks real clean..! I think Black/smoke are the same actually. I only worry that my Grille is chrome and the black/smoke wont look as clean as yours. I love the look of the black grille with the black Hood protector, looks awesome.

 

Which window deflectors are those? I have a feeling I'm not going to like the Weathertech ones that I bought.

I believe they are GM genuine parts. The in-channel ones are the way to go.

UPDATE: I went with the Black AVS aeroskin. Also added Weathertech In-channel wind deflectors, dark smoke.

Looks good, great choice. The way it sits now you have a good balance of black and chrome in my opinion. Hope you are pleased!
