Im looking at adding a leveling kit and bigger wheels and tires soon. I was looking at the tgc 2" kit, just want to make sure that it is good quality and not to hard to install. Also looking at 285/55/20 toyo at2's on 20x9 fuels +1 or +14 offset. I dont want to have any rubbing or have to do any trimming. So any advise will be appreciated.

TGC makes good stuff. I've had one of their leveling kits for years. And the tires should fit fine. Just go with the +14 to be on the safe side.

I had just 2 inch level at first with fuel 20x9 and +1 offset with 295/55/20 and no rubbing.

Are these kits hard to install on your own?

Not at all. The bottom mount kits are super easy. Just jack up the front end of the truck, remove the wheels/tires, then remove the two bolts from the bottom of the strut. Then with the assistance of prybar and a sturdy screwdriver to line up holes, pop in the spacer and bolt it back up. It's a 30 minute job. Maybe an hour for a first timer, but it requires the most basic of skills and tools. Of course you need an alignment after. If its a top mount, then you just have to remove the 3 bolts on top of the strut and pull it out. Again, it's very basic. I swapped the struts on our old Tahoe in about 45 minutes. Instructions will tell you to remove ball joints and sway bars. DO NOT. It's not even remotely necessary.
