Help fixing radiator?

Ya gotta love the plastic radiators. Mine cracked on the driver side tank right below the hose. Can you fix them? A radiator shop her said they can replace the tank on it for about $85, but that's kinda high. Do they sell tanks that a guy could replace himself? Thanks for the help, I don't want to overheat and throw a rod or something, so I am needing advice soon please.

$85.00 sounds like a bargain, given the cost of labor these days.

Your talking about the little plastic overflow tank aren't you. I would try a salvage yard and see what you can get there. That does sound kinda high just for the plastic tank.

Yea, the overflow tank. I haven't tried a junkyard yet, there a a bunch locally, (about 30 within an hour's drive) but what I have found in tha past is they won't sell pieces of something, just the whole thing. I may get lucky and find someone with the other side cracked, or the radiator itself not working though. I'll try that. How do you replace those tanks I wonder? I can get the radiator out, I'll just have to look at it.
