Leather vinyl for dashboard.

So my dashboard has some cracks in it. I managed to re-enforce it from underneath with some strips of sheet metal and some gorilla epoxy glue but I wasn't able to completely hide the cracks (I should've had the patience to hold it all in perfect place while it dried). I'm thinking about just covering the entire board with a black leather vinyl. I know it's possible but I have no idea how to go about spreading the material evenly over all the different curves on the board without showing stretch marks. What's the name of the material I'm looking for? What's the process? Anyone have any ideas?

I don't know the name of the material you're looking for but in my truck I have a carpet that I ordered to cover the dash. It fits perfectly, and keep the dash protected from the sun and hides everything underneath.

Yeah I've seen those. My father has one in his Ford lariat. But I'm looking for something permanent and as close to stock looking as possible. Like the newer models. Thanks though.

I attempted to do my 01 ram with leather look vinyl to cover the cracks.... Didn't look bad but honestly the vacuum formed plastic dash cap I installed later looked better.... They make them for the 07- as well
