It doesn't need a notch. And you're not hitting your bump stop; that's your shocks bottoming out. They're probably ruined at this point.

You shouldn't need a notch for a 6" drop. I'm not anywhere close to needing a notch and I've had my kit on for close to a year and haven't hit my bumpstops once.

I just re read that your kit came with drop shocks. Are you sure you're only 6" drop?

Yeah I'm pretty sure I'm only at 6. the kit was adjustable, the lowest being 6

What kit you have on?

I have the bell tech 3/6. Front is spindles & springs. I added the drop struts.

The rear is a flip kit with Viking da shocks.

mine has the spindles and struts. Dont have the springs. What brand drop shocks did you use?

Bell tech. I used them to firm up the front. The drop is using the spindles & springs

my front shocks are pretty firm. it's the rear that bounces too much.I've noticed I take bumps or little dips way wetter in the front then the back. I ordered a pair Belltech Street Performance shocks

When I installed my flip kit a used a plasma cutter and whacked the bumpstop bracket off of the frame and then reused the factory bumpstop (drilled and Tapped the frame) and it rides just fine. I also used the Good Belltech shocks for the 5-7 drop and didn't need the shock extenders (I hate shock extenders!)
