stereo upgrade won't reprogram

took my 2014 Sierra in for a radio upgrade and they are having problems reprogramming it they even have a new radio to put in its been in the shop all day been told gm engineer will be helping tomorrow with it has anyone else had this problem.

Yes, I did when I had the lead engineer from GM working with me on the radio reception issues. Dealer tried to D/L and update my module and couldn't get it to work. They had to call into GM and have them help.

What kind of upgrade is avaliable?

Interested in the update as well. I'm driving a 2015 SLE loaner right now and the screen seems much more responsive. No lag like in my 2014. Don't know if that upgrade addresses that.

The upgrade is only supposed to fix FM reception, not HD...GM offered me 1 year Sirius for free since they can't fix their defective stereo. I took it for now. Next week i take it in for the steering vibration....wonder what they'll offer me for that? I'm thinking a new truck is about even since i have a '14 High Country 4x4.....F150 looking better and better....or a Tundra.
