I just bought a 96 z71, 5 speed

343000 miles, and of course somebodies restore. They did very good. Even the interior is like new.

Could be on its 3rd 305. Very healthy.

first trip home was 190 miles... into northern maine. Very cold etc.

 

 

a young 305, and my fourth..but my first in a truck.

 

The egr was something I blocked off in the old G-body cars.

Am wondering if there is a plate or kit part number, or if I will be welding and fabricating something on my own.(I do a lot of that)

and am curious about codes or whatver has to be cleared out, any tips appreciated.

 

Before any arguments over any engine sucking on their own butt or not...

My locale has an active dump, and bizarre events into the arctic temperatures. Unique oxides, etc.

EGR blocked for the win. Not about hacking anything for any old reason. I do understand the tropical equatorial beautiful wind reasons for EGR not bothering most of the planet.
