New to Gm-trucks

Hello everybody, I new to this site but I'm on SS and Gm full size. I had a 2013 crew cab Lt Z71 and now have a 2015 Silverado crew cab 2LT Z71 in tungsten gray metallic and I totally love my new truck and before I took ownership of it I looked it up and down and it was perfect. The only place I didn't look was on the roof, So one week later coming out of work yesterday and being on the sidewalk looking at my truck I notice a dent on the roof, I was livid so I climbed in the bed to inspect the rest of the roof and found 2 more. I can't believe this crap on a new 48K truck. The dealer is going to get a PDR guy to look at it and fix it but I can't believe this happens. Not that they look like wrecking ball was dropped on the roof but just there enought to drive me insane. My biggest fear is the one on the font curve part of the roof if he will have to take the headliner down some to get to it. Hope he dosent have to but we'll see. Anyone else have something. Similar happen to them with their new baby?

Yeah...my truck got a dent in it right before I signed for it by a customer. PDR got it out, can't tell. Make sure they warranty the repair for life!

My wife bought a Ford Flex a couple years ago and the whole back roof is glass. 3 days after we bought it, we noted a star crack in the edge about 2" in diameter. It went back for a replacement. They then returned the car with black hand prints all over the light gray headliner. I had told my wife to make sure it was clean when she picked it up. But she never looked at the headliner until I showed her. It was ridiculously dirty. Back it went. What a frustrating experience.

Thanks for the reply I'm hopefully trying to avoid the frustrating experience. The buying experience was great. I'm really anal with my cars and trucks and we all know the service guys are the best and gentlest. They mess up more than they fix for the most part. I'm afraid of the dirty headliner and having rattles after things are taken apart.

Think positive. I had my first experience with a PDR guy in December on my son's car. I don't believe in magic, but he was so good he was nothing short of a magician. Good luck and I hope it turns out great.

Thanks foghorn, I have had experience with 2 first one sucked and couldn't fixture it seconded one did. It was a crease in my door of my brand new 14 1LE CAMARO. Must be a gm thing?
