6.2 block with 5.3 heads

So I have a 2009 silverado with a 5.3 and have a 6.2 short block available. I know the heads will work, but what all would I need in order to make this work? Im pretty new at this stuff so dont be too hard on me. I have a guy who is going to do all the work. I need a new block because the aluminum block I had is toast due to a bad lifter. Just trying to see if it would be worth building up this short block rather than just going back with a 5.3 long block. Thanks in advance for any help.

if your gonna buy a short block 6.2 you might as well spend the money and buy the short block 5.3 use your heads and just bump up the valve train with a cam and roller rockers then you dont have to worry about toasting your transmission or differentials
