HID TRS Kit Install Help

I just got an HID kit from theretrofitsource for my 2015 Silverado with projectors.

 

I've looked through other threads but can'f find any pics of the install setup. Where

are you guys mounting the relay harness and ballast? Also this kit comes with the XB

igniters which are new to me.

 

The passenger side is pretty crowded with the air box and that's where the relays need to go.

Drivers side has plenty of room with the empty battery tray.

 

Any photos or hints would be appreciated.

I put the relays in front of the Airbox. The Harness needs to go in that direction for the + Battery connection. PM my your phone # and I can txt you picks tonight.

The XB bulbs are exactly what you want. They mount at a different angle than the regular X35 bulbs. It gets rid of any shadows in your beam pattern.

 

TRS claims the XB bulbs also put out better light but I haven't noticed a difference in that regard.

 

I have my ballasts mounted under the plastic cover to the left and right of the hood latch, can't even see them, it's great.

 

I've got my HD relay and capacitor link mounted in an ugly ball of wires on top of my airbox, for now...
