Gotta Gripe

one of my friends doesn't have a credit card so I placed an order for him online at www.bandrags.com for some t-shirts and a sweatshirt.  Well, he opted for the express 3-4 day shipping since it was only two bucks more and that way he would be garunteed to get it by xmas.  Well, we placed the order on 12-14-01 and yet no package.  I emailed the company several time to see where the heck this stuff is.  There web page says they are closed for the holidays, but this order was placed 10 days before christmas.  They don't even have a phone number listed to call and ask.  I looked at my credit card bill and I was already billed the 100 dollars.  What can I do about this?  If I don't see the stuff by the end of next week or at least hear from them I'm going to have the payment cancelled.

I don't have a fax machine.  C'mon paco, if I could afford things like a fax machine I'd proabably have some LS seats in my truck.

 

The weird thing was I got a UPS ship notification and where you'd click on the tracking number it said can not find or something like that.

First, call your CC company. Tell them you have yet to recieve product.

 

They will know to get ahold of them.  ;)

First call the credit card company as stated above.  Tell them the situation and that you will not pay for them until you receive them.

 

Then e-mail or call (even though they have a cool phone number ) and explain to them that you have already called the credit card and told them that you dispute the charge.

 

That'll get them moving.  The G/F someway, somehow gets involved in this all the time.   ???

This is the first time it's happened to me, but it happened to my buddy, not me, just on my card.  He already gave me the cash for it.

Well, I'm going to chicago tomorrow so we both can rough the guy up.  I'd get the real guy in florida, but that's pretty far away.  My friend was joking and saying when we go to FL this summer we should just drop in and pick it up, maybe they'll have it ready then

Well, if you decide to rough them up, take 94 into the city, exit at Washington (providing that exit isn't closed...I can't remember) take a right and head west down Washington.  954 is between Sangamon and Morgan streets.
