Black Bear Tune

Well I finally broke down and got a Black bear tune coming. I did the ecm exchange. Sure hope all the good I hear about them is true! Question is, do you have to done a C.A.S.E. relearn on a '97 vortec?

I did a Black Bear Tune on my 97 and it was worth it in the butt dyno. :-) What is the C.A.S.E relearn? I pulled out my old computer, put in the one from black bear. Drove the truck = :-)

 

I even got 22 mpg to phx @ 65mph and climbing back up north 20mpg @ 65mph. If I go 80 its more like 16mpg.

 

Very happy with tune.
