SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

I have a 2000 Chevy 1500 now a little over a year it, is a 4.3 Vortec. I bought it at 34,000 miles now I have 47,000 In the last 4 months or less I have had a great deal of problems. My fuel pump went bad my water pump was replaced and just recently my clutch blew out destroying my pressure plate and a portion of my throw out bearings. Grand total of about 1500 dollars worth of engine work. What I have been experencing before the clutch went out is a power loss when I try to accelerate very fast (Boggs down). When I downshift from 5th or 4th to 3rd or 2nd and floor it i get nothing responsive to the gear I was in previuosly and it actually backs down. I have taken it to 3 diffrent mechanics a Chevy-Dealership included and those idiots could even figure out how to fix one of my headlights that was grounding out. I am really desperate for answers because mini-vans and suv's are passing me and I can not pass anyone if i tried. The weird part of it all is it sometimes doesent happen some days it works another hour it might not,

Just a few easy ones, but when was the last time for a FULL tune-up (even so your plugs might be off OR a bad wire)? Have you cleaned the Trottle Body lately? What about the fuel filter? Again, just some easy ones. Also, the clutch might not be engaging all the way?

I agree with girth. If you haven't already checked them, then I would suggest a fuel filter, plugs and wires, and a check of the air filter for blockage. I would also run some good fuel injector cleaner in the truck.

The other good possibillity, is a partially clogged catalytic converter. If that is the case, then it should be covered under the GM emissions warranty, which extends beyond the 3/36 bumper-to-bumper warranty.

But would they cover it under warrantee if he has after market exhaust?

I have checked the plugs, wires are fine ,throttle body has been recently cleaned and my fuel filter was replaced 2,000 miles ago. The main thing about this that is kinda strange is that it doesnt happen all the time. Somedays it runs fine and i can haul around real nice i i have to but other days i feel like im driving like my grandpa. The clutch was not the problem because it had these problems before it was replaced and the old factory is made out of asbestos my new one is steel. Every thing i have done recenlty to the truck makes a good tuneup
