Rancho 4" lift - RS6547B

Looking to buy this lift kit from a guy who bought it new, and never used it - still in boxes. I will be putting it on 2004 Suburban Z71. The kit includes coil springs, but when I look online, this part number is also available for use with Rancho 2.5 inch leaf springs. It reads

• Rancho springs are designed to maintain a soft factory ride
• Leaf springs are designed to control torque roll while providing equal traction through limited axle wind-up

My Suburban has coil springs in rear.

Just wondering if I am supposed to change to leaf springs for a better ride, or if the leaf springs lift is for suv's that came with factory leaf springs?

Is it a single spring or 2 new leaf packs?

Never installed a lift kit on a Suburban but you would need more than just a leaf spring to change the rear suspension over from the coils.

 

All of the complete lift kits I had for my trucks came with an add a leaf for the pickups.

 

EDIT..... I just looked at that kit on gorancho and there are no leaf springs included according to the picture. It shows 2 coil springs and trac. bars for rear and spindles for the front.

A quick call to Rancho should clear everything up very quickly....
