Grill questions.

so i own a 2002 chevy silverado 1500 4.8L base model. The grill needed replacing so i resorted to Amazon. received the grill in a few short days, it all fit perfectly, THEN the mounting brackets were just a hair off. Upon further investigation, the mounting bracket spread from top to bottom was 11.5 inches apart on the new amazon grill as opposed to the 12.5 that the original grill was. Being that it was from an Amazon seller, it doesn't have all the numbers on it that it would coming from chevy. Since the incident ive gotten a different grill and installed it, BUT am not sure what the Amazon grill would fit. Maybe a tahoe, maybe an HD model, im not sure. Maybe someone knows the simple differences between all these grills and could help me out finding a use for this thing other than wall decor.

2500HD grille has black diamond mesh with a big chrome or silver painted bar in the center. 1500 grille would be chrome or silver smaller bar with square/rectangular mesh. Tahoe and Silverado base base trim (WT) use the same grille. You want part# 19130786.
