barry1 Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 I have a 2015 Suburban with heated mirrows. The leftside takes 7.5 mins. to clear and the right takes 2-2.5 mins. Just talked with the dealership and they stated "tac said it was within specs." I have a video that shows this and no one at the dealership wants to view it. Any suggestions that might resolve this problem???

00Silverado4x4 Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 On my previous truck it was the same way. The driver's side has the night time dimming electrochromatic something or another. Only from what I've been told from the dealership but they told me that was the reason it takes longer to defrost compared to the passenger side which was just the standard mirror. Current truck it's shoot and miss on whether or not they work at all.
barry1 Posted March 25, 2016 Author Posted March 25, 2016 Any update to the time difference? I've noticed a similar issue with my 2015 Sierra. No nothing. Dealer will not even look at it any more. Sorry.
Shredzy Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Thanks for the reply, evidently they feel it's normal?? My 2006 Silverado had heated mirrors and were identical in defrosting times, not so with the '15.
