Doors randomly shows open

My truck has started a couple of new issues.

 

1st problem... It keeps blowing the #26 fuse for the door locks. It will remotely lock, but not unlock. I can change the fuse and it will for various periods of time before it blows the fuse again.

2nd problem... I am sure it is related, but the drivers door keeps randomly showing open. This is also causing the alarm to go off randomly just sitting.

 

I replace the door lock mechanism assuming that was the problem, but it is still occurring.

 

Any ideas? Is the door open sensor a part of the lock mechanism?

What year and type of truck are you runnin'. If this is something that just happened recently with all the rain and everything, you are in Texas. Just sayin'..., you may have some kind of leak in that area. Dry the area, change the fuse, see if it gets wet.

The truck is a 2500HD GMC. I have been traveling this week and it maybe it has dried out some. I'll check when I get home this week.
