I'm ready to get out of L.A finally. I'm looking forward to the move just not sure what to expect...

Sounds like your not going far enough.

Are you people allowed to leave CA, or is it like that Wayward Pines show?

Welcome to Shasta County bro!

I moved up here from Oakland almost 10 years ago. You can expect an incredibly slower pace, virtually no traffic, and absolutely beautiful scenery.

If your into hunting/fishing, it's the best in the State.

However, there are a lot of people who don't travel outside of Shasta County who feel this place is the worst in California because a few homeless and they can't leave their purses/laptops in their cars.

You'll love it!
