Transmission goes into drive instead of reverse

Ok here we go 2014 siverado lt 4x4.truck had transfer case software update twice as it was going into neutral on the highway and in town almost killed a pedestrian because truck shifted transfer case into neutral and rolled backwards.wow thought that was bad until now.went to pull out of parking lot yesterday had truck in reverse gave it throttle and truck shot forward almost crashing into truck parked on the street.stopped looked at shift lever it was in reverse didn't touch it at all gave it throttle and it reversed.my wife has had this happen on two occasions where she had near miss accidents.now almost every time we drive the truck you have to restart it three or four times cause shifter display doesn't want to come on.This truck is going to kill someone!talked to gm they said they never heard of a problem like this one.wow can't believe I paid over 50000 dollars for a vehicle that the frame is rusting away after less than a year and now it's a total safety accident waiting to happen vehicle.this truck has only 12000 Kms I am so fed up with this truck.has anyone had this happen with their 2014?I am seriously thinking of getting a lawyer involved as I don't want this unsafe truck.sure wish we had lemon laws in Canada.

The dealership already acknowledges there is a problem, or else why did they update the transfer case software twice? Tell that to the to the dealership manager and ask what he recommends, if it as you describe you may be on the verge of critically injuring someone or yourself. If you don't get a satisfactory response, video everything, limit your driving, then consult a lawyer.
