Power Window lock that actually well.. Locks?

I am the new owner of a 2011 GMC Denali 2500HD.. Not that it matters as we had the same issue on our previous 2007 GMC 1500....

 

When we use the Power Window Lock on the driver's side so that it disables the power windows, it only disables the BACK windows and not the front.

 

is there any way to get the power window lock to lock ALL power windows?

 

Thoughts?

The lock appears to be operating within specifications. "This feature prevents the rear windows from operating, except from the driver position". (information from the manual). Don't believe you will get all the windows to lock with this button, could be why your previous model couldn't do it?

Thanks and Yep, I guess I was looking for some setting or work around to lock all the windows when locked... I know, sounds stupid but picture checking out the campsite before backing in and cat/dog in cab of truck and windows locked. Get back to truck and cat has escaped out open window because he stood on the switch.

 

At any rate, I made a plastic cover for the buttons for the old truck, I guess I'll make one for the new truck.
