I noticed a new Video option when my iPhone is connected via USB after the iOS 8.4 updated. I have one music video, but it does not see it. Anyone know what it takes to have videos display? You will see options under audio with direct USB connection.

480p resolution.

Pretty crappy you need 480p resolution or lower to see videos on the screen.

Yeah its a little ridiculous, it should be at least 1080p.

Hmm really? I'll have to mess with that. Drove racecar to work today, just conditioned the seats late yesterday afternoon in the truck and wanted it to sit for a day or so before sitting on them (per "recommended" text on the jar...) Will play with it when I get home.

 

Any screenshots of the new screen on the dash?

Why? That screen isn't there to watch full-motion video - it has other purposes and SUPPORTS full-motion video in certain resolutions. I, for one, have no interest in having to pay more for the truck because that screen can play hi-res movies and I'll never use it for that.
