04 Silverado mods

I was wondering what good mods would be for my truck. Performance and looks wise. The truck is arrival blue metallic/ silver and has a 5.3. Already has an exhaust and intake.

Talk about beating a dead horse. . .

LT headers, cam and tune will do you good for stock components. Anything else and you will probs blow up the like glass 4L60 trans. Oh, you could also re gear to 3.73 or 4.10's if you want. Hell, rebuild the transmission and slap a super charger on or better yet, twin turbo the bastard and rip around the streets.

I put a heavier built trans in it about 2000 miles ago. after the junk stock 4l60 trans went for the second time I was done messing with stock.

Custom tune is my pick. Made a big difference.

The LT header is the best bang for the buck. You will notice an improvement in power.

I'd recommend a programmer as a first mod. I've install Bully dog and now see horsepower increase. Here is a good pick of tunes available on the market.
