Problem with 2015 Sierra Denali

you guys are all saying bash the dealer but remember the dealer didnt build the truck and they are fixing it. Also they may have had no control on the rental car might have been only one left. I would ask for a different rental for sure and im sure they can find you a better one. No matter how mad you are and I would be too screaming at the dealership service employees will get you no where fast.

No one is saying the dealer built the truck and they weren't fixing it. Everyone said they were fixing it so what is the problem? And yes it is on the dealer that they gave him a shitty rental. If it was the last car then his "story" doesn't say that.

When I got a rental covered by gm for my transmission fix they specifically said it had to be a gm car. The dealer didn't have rental so they contacted enterprise to get me a truck. Enterprise messed it up so the dealer called another one and eventually I got a yukon which wasn't a truck but was at least comparable. I wanted a truck but didn't get it

I also could have came on these forums and ranted how I was never buying a gm product again

You make it sound like everything you buy should be perfect and never have a defect. And bye the way telling people what you paid for your vehicle doesnt make anyone sympathize with you, we all paid our hard earned money for our trucks and it is irrelevant whether it is $1000 or $100,000 you come off like a person who is spoiled and has to much money, especially with your line about your large mortgage company with employees who screw up all the time.

Go home grab a cigar and a glass of cognac and complain to your friends in the real world not on the internet.

Or just take your check from Dodge or Ford and buy the above mentioned treats.

I mentioned being an entrepreneur to make a point about customer service. I came from nothing and built my business by hard work and doing the right thing. But thank you for your opinion anyway

Just wanted to share a quick update on my situation. I went back to the dealer yesterday to follow up. They are still waiting on the part needed, I was told it is on "backorder" and they have no idea when they will get it so that was very disappointing. However, they did switch out the rental car I was in. They put me in a F150, which I found extremely odd but I appreciated their effort. They are hoping to have what they need to correct the problem in the next week or so. Fingers crossed!

Thanks for all the positive input (for the few that I got). It helped me off the ledge yesterday!

on ALC's website, what is the package number? Z72, Z82, Z92? Other?

It is Z92. Here are a few pictures from the day I got it. I am having several other things done to it once the repairs are done. I am adding a sound system, 54" curved LED light bar on top, smoked tail lights and break light, LED bar on the bumper etc... I will post more pics when it is all completed.

Go look at Suburban or Yukon pricing.... A Sierra Denali is cheaper than an ltz 2wd Burb

I traded a 2015 Yukon Denali when I purchased this truck. I love the Yukon but wanted a truck. The interior of the Sierra Denali is exactly like the Yukon minus the heads up display and the nav screen that will go up and down with usb plugs and storage behind the screen.

Oh BTW, I hope they fix it and you get to enjoy it!

I purchased a new 2015 Sierra Denali with American Luxury coach package. Paid $74,000 for this truck (the ALC package was 18k upgrade).[...] I am put in a damn Mazda matchbox car for two weeks.

For $18k, you could have owned the Mazda. Must be some package.
