Report: 1st 10,000 miles on my 2014 Silverado

Little over 10000 on mine excellent truck once i got rid of the garbage tires that they put on from the factory,replaced them with michelin ltx ms2 it is now nirvana

I have over 20,000 on My 2014 Silverado Crew LTZ Z71 that I purchased on April 23, 2014. I've made 2 cross country trips and have not had 1 issue. I love my truck and it is without question, the best vehicle I've ever owned. GM and the dealers Ihave worked with for service have been great and very accommodating. Absolutely great quality and service.

 

I also have a 2014 Impala LTZ that has 21,000 miles on it with only one issue with the Mylink system that was fixed immediatly. GM (Chevrolet) is really trying to be quality.

What was your mylink issue? mine wont pick up the phone when I get in the truck. How did they fix your issue?

About every 30 minutes it would lock up, screen go black and then reset. It would loose navigation and favorites. Did this for 2 days then it worked OK.

 

I called GM entertainment they contacted my dealer. The dealer found the error codes in the system which led them to flashing an update. I haven't had a problem since.

4000 miles in the two months I have owned mine and absolutely no problems. I love this truck every time I get in it. Still learning new things about it. Just noticed last night when I used the remote lock after dark that the mirrors have lights on the bottom. Not sure what they are good for but they look good shining down the side of the truck. Never noticed them before.

I just hope this truck lasts as long as my 01 Sierra that I traded in with almost 300,000 miles on it.

 

Same here. I'm about to turn 4000 miles after 2 months of ownership and I love my truck! It's simply the best vehicle I've ever owned!!!

I've had my 15 since early may 15. About 1900 or so miles now. Love every time i get in and drive it. By a long shot the nicest vehicle I've ever owned. No real issues per se. The trans clunks going into reverse at times and at times it still does not shift the best [rough shifts/acts like it does not know which gear to be in] but i don't let that bother me. It's gotten some better the more miles I've put on it.

 

No question it runs better locked in m5 and all 8 holes Stay lit ;)

I am jealous. Mine now has 16,600 on it. Been in 4 times for transmission issues, it tends to slip a lot more than it should. The bluetooth likes to switch between my phone and the truck. I thought it was my iPhone but everything checks out on that. Besides that I like it. Lot of power and it does get 21 MPG average. So far after the new flash the truck seems to be staying in gear (knock on wood)
