Report: 1st 10,000 miles on my 2014 Silverado

I traded in my 2013 Silverado LT on a 2014 Silverado LTZ on April 1, 2014.

After a little over a year of ownership and 10,000 miles I can honestly report that I've had ZERO issues with the truck and safely say that it is the best vehicle I've ever owned.

From the excellent fuel economy to the head-turning good looks, the beautifully appointed interior, comfortable quiet ride, powerful 5.3L V8, this truck is a keeper!

Just rolled 10k.

Good deal, I just turned 11k and bought my truck the same time as yours... it's been excellent. Nice to hear someone else happy after all the attention the lemons get online.

Yeah, a lot of folks turn to forums to complain if they have a problem. Enthusiasts such as myself and many others get on forums to talk about mods, how-to's, and how much they love their trucks!

I have over 20,000 on My 2014 Silverado Crew LTZ Z71 that I purchased on April 23, 2014. I've made 2 cross country trips and have not had 1 issue. I love my truck and it is without question, the best vehicle I've ever owned. GM and the dealers Ihave worked with for service have been great and very accommodating. Absolutely great quality and service.

I also have a 2014 Impala LTZ that has 21,000 miles on it with only one issue with the Mylink system that was fixed immediatly. GM (Chevrolet) is really trying to be quality.

Only 2K on my 2015 purchased on June 24th but they have been trouble free and I love driving/riding in it. So far (knock on wood), it has been a great vehicle!

There was a small scratch on front bumper when we bought that the dealer fixed. After having it about 2 weeks, they were able to schedule the repair so I drove a 2014 Ram 1500 loaner for a few days. I hated how that thing drove/rode. When I got my truck back it was like falling in love all over again :)

We have 2014 Impala with 24k on it in with 0 issues as well.

Almost 21k on the body and around 1000 on the new engine. :( oh well nothing's perfect, but of all the GM's I've owned and driven I've only had that one issue. So I'm still happy.

:chevrolet: The Silverados that I have owned have all been good trucks. I've had 93 GMC 96, 01, 10 Silverado but this is the best. Love it more all the time! 5600 trouble free miles so far!

4000 miles in the two months I have owned mine and absolutely no problems. I love this truck every time I get in it. Still learning new things about it. Just noticed last night when I used the remote lock after dark that the mirrors have lights on the bottom. Not sure what they are good for but they look good shining down the side of the truck. Never noticed them before.

I just hope this truck lasts as long as my 01 Sierra that I traded in with almost 300,000 miles on it.

They're puddle lights but not super bright. I actually used them to my advantage yesterday. My buddy parked his car next to my truck and was really close (it's fine cause I know he won't hit my truck vs some random) but it was almost pitch black out and when I unlocked the truck the abundance of lights I have obviously came on but the puddle lights lit up his little Honda and showed how much he could open his door without hitting my truck. It was pretty cool.
