Anybody upgrade their brakes?

I am thinking about upgrading the brake system on my Yukon once I put 20" wheels on it.  I've heard many people say that the addition of larger wheels/tires really strains the braking ability of their truck.

The Baer Eradispeed +1 system seems like a good deal at $1375 for the set (front and rear).  And it is direct bolt on.

Anybody have any experience with these or any other set of brakes?

Thanks.

I just got my Praise Dyno Stage II brake kit delivered.

I also picked up a set of Earls SS brake lines from Summit and

a brake pressure bleeder from Motive Products.

I'll give a detailed review in a couple of weeks.

I finished the Praise Dyno Stage 2 on all four corners on my 2001 Tahoe about 4K ago at 85K.  SIGNIFICANT improvement in braking so far.  This was 4 rotors and their pads all cryo treated.  Cryo is supposed to improve wear and warping.  Can't speak for longevity yet but it's nice to have "nose bleed" brakes.  Pedal is firmer too.

The larger wheel/tire combo will give you longer stopping distances. The +1 Eradispeeds will help stop the truck quicker and look pretty good behind a set of 20s. Our regular price for the front/rears is $1319.98 and you can save $50. by placing your order on our website.

Hope this helps,

Tom
