Big PGA Day

I'm not a huge golf fan, but watch occasionally. My wife was ill the past couple days, keeping me at home. I started watching the PGA Championship yesterday and saw a good game. It looked like it was going to be a good shootout today. It turned out to be one of the greatest days in golf!

 

The winner, Jason Day, won his first major, and won it setting a new record of -20 for a major tourney.

 

Jordan Speith finished 3 back while setting a record all season score of -54.

I watched a lot of today's round. It was a fun day of golf for sure!

 

Jordan Speith has had a great year. I was pulling for him, but Jason Day played well the entire tournament. (Obviously, he shot -20)

 

But back to Speith. He finished 1st, 1st, 4th, and 2nd in majors this year. Astounding!

Yes, it was a good tournament indeed. But, too bad we don't see more of the LPGA tournaments. Yesterday's winner was a young 16 (not quite yet 17) year old that finished with a -21 which was well beyond the runner-up's score. Would love to have been able to flip back and forth to watch both games. Seems like 250 channels via satellite is not enough.
