Ok, explain how you get the little rubber cap seated over the caliper slide pi so on a 2012? I had a couple pop out and you can imagine the results a year later.

What's the trick? Or are mine swelled?

Just lube them up and they should just kinda pop on without much trouble. No real secret, you may just have to replace them

Mine must be swelled...like pushing five pounds of dirt into a two pound bag. I've fought with everyone of them...at least they can be replaced without pulling the wheel.

Yeah just clean them up and regrease them. They should be fine. Enjoy, brake work is always a ton of fun!

I ordered several sets, different brands; to set see if either swells worse than the other. These are definitely too big to fit back into the grooves.

I'm thinking I might drill the caliper and install a zerk on each slide pin...just because I can.

You can see how much that plug swelled in the photo...all eight were that way.

I ordered AC Delco and Raybestos thinking I would get two different seals...nope, both made in China and both have the same bag (with the same part number on it) in a different box; they are the same seals!

So I wasn't losing my mind...
