Driver Alert Package on Reg Cab LT Silverado

I was screwing around browsing the inventory of my local dealership and noticed they had a Regular Cab LT with the front parking sensors and Driver Alert Package. I was unaware that you could get the Driver Alert Package and front sensors on anything other than LTZ and High Country. I tried to build an LT Double and Crew on Chevrolet.com and found that the Driver Alert Package is only available with the LT trim package on Reg Cab trucks. Any inside information on why Chevy decide to this? I though it was kind of weird myself.

Driver alert (Y65) is available on a regular cab 1LT. Not on other reg cab Silverados.

I know, but it isn't available on Double and Crew Cab LT.

Prob because they wanted it available in reg cab without adding LTZ or High Country trim.

 

 

Reg cab - 1LT

DC - 1LZ and 2LZ

CC - 1LZ, 2LZ and 3LZ
