Hi everyone, I have a 2011 hybrid Silverado. After disconnecting both batteries and removing the intake I now have a no crank issue. I've verified all my connectors are connected and such but everything is in place. I am getting the "service hybrid" light on the dash. Is this a programming or reset type issue because the batteries were disconnected? Any help is greatly appreciated..

Needs to be scanned for codes if you have service hybrid. When you say both batteries do you mean two 12V batteries or the 12V and the hybrid battery? And intake, are you talking the air box and air duct or the actual intake manifold?

You must wait at least 5 minutes after turning the ignition OFF before disconnecting the 12V battery for any reason. This allows the hybrid control modules to process and store internal data.

Thank you for the response. I mean the entire intake, I had to replace the sensor in the rear valley. I scanned it with my scan tool which is not a tech 2 scanner naturally and but found no codes. Would a p code of some sort be present or do I need to scan the hybrid control module, or have the dealer scan it I should say? Oh and by both batteries I mean the 12v battery and the hybrid battery.
